To Start: If you enjoy Almost Awake, the best way to support us is to come out to shows! Find them on our shows page. You can also buy our CDs, become our friend on MySpace or become a fan on Facebook. You can read our Blog or follow us on Twitter. And of course, tell your friends! Put an Almost Awake song on a mix CD and give it to them for their birthday. Or better yet, bring them to a show!

If you're technological and whatnot: Put this little promo art thingy wherever it is you put stuff like this (Website, myspace, facebook, anywhere else you can figure it out) Right-click, save as, you know the drill. . .

To Do More: If you really enjoy Almost awake, you can do some of the things below . . .

>>>Suggest a Venue: We are always looking for new places to play! If you know of a place or event you think is just perfect for Almost Awake, let us know by e-mailing us at almostawakemusic@gmail.com. In general, we like to play laid-back environments. Bars are cool as long as they are down-to-earth and have been known to feature acoustic musicians. Coffeeshops and restaraunts are also great. If you think we should play at a festival, farmer's market, concert series or college, it really helps if you have the contact information for the person who is in charge of booking.

>>>Promote: Do you live in a town Almost Awake will be playing in soon? Help us promote for the show by handing out and hanging up flyers, talking us up to friends, and letting us know what radio stations and newspapers potential concert-goers are most likely to listen to/read. Look at our upcoming shows and contact us if you can help.

>>>Hassle some people: Did you suggest a venue? After we send them our press kit, why not be our feet on the ground and go talk to someone at the venue? First, ask for the booker. Then, if you get to talk to them, see if they'd heard our stuff yet. In either case, tell them how great Almost Awake is and how much you'd love to see them play at that venue. Make sure you tell them you and all your friends would definitely come out to the show. Then tell us you did this so we can follow up.

>>>Call In: Local radio stations like EQX (Manchester/Albany - 102.7) and WEXT (Amsterdam/Tri-cities/Saratoga - 97.7) play local music.

During the local show on EQX (EQXposure - Sundays from 7PM-8PM), call in (802-362-1027) to request Almost Awake or e-mail Jason Irwin any time.

Request us on WEXT at any time. They play local every hour. There's a request form online.

WSPN (Saratoga: 91.1) has a local show on Saturdays from Noon - 3PM called Soiree. It's hosted by Arthur Gonick and there is a local segment. Call in to tell him you'd like to hear Almost Awake ( 518-580-5783).

The Saint (Albany - 88.3) has a show called Kaleidescope on Fridays from 9AM - 11AM with Jim Barrett. He'd love it if you requested Almost Awake, we're sure (the show's not taped live though, so we'll get back to you on contact info.)
